Reader's Comments about
Riding A Rollercoaster with Lewy Body Dementia

(This book is the forerunner of A Caregiver's Guide to Lewy Body Dementia. It was written specifically for staff, but caregivers loved it. It is now only available as part of the Lewy Body Dementia Trainer's Kit.)

"Riding a Rollercoaster with Lewy Body Dementia is the book I kept looking for when my Mother was diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia (c. 1999) and could not find because it did not exist. It provides a wealth of easy-to-read information in one place, is a great
reference book, with a glossary of terms, a list of acronyms, and incredibly current references. Well thought out and organized, this book is a truly a must for every LBD family and every medical professional wanting to learn more about LBD!"
Ronnie Genser, LBDA Support Group Facilitator Coordinator

"I am reading your book on LBD and I just want you to know that I think it is a terrific resource. It is very easy to read and really hits home on a lot of points.  I am learning a lot.  Congratulations to you and Helen, and thank you both for writing it."
Angela Herron, LBDA President

"My husband is on Hospice so I ordered two and gave one to them. They were so grateful to get it. The book is well written and easy to understand. It gives a good understanding of LBD and how it is different from AD and PD and also where they are the same. It is a good book to have in your home for others to read. It is an easy read; I read the whole thing in one evening." Caregiver in Colorado

"I was astounded at how comprehensive and useful (the book) is. I have recommended it to the area Hospice group and to a caregiver support program in (my) county. thank you very much for making my role more understandable, more bearable, and more helpful to (my loved one)." Caregiver in Massachusetts

"...a great overview of the the disease and the challenges it presents." Caregiver in Kansas.

Excellent easy read, hats off to Jim and Helen for putting this in the hands of caregivers and families with LBD! Irene Selak, LBDA Helpline Coordinator

I found Riding a Roller Coaster the most fascinating and informational source of inofrmation on Lewy Body ever! Caregiver in Indiana

From the Lewy Body Dementia Association page on Facebook:

"... an honest and useful read."

"... an excellent book. It has more practical information in it than anything I have read to date on LBD, speaking both as a family member of LBD disease and as a clinician."

"Totally wonderful book."

"... a very helpful book. I just lost my dad March 8th. I wish we would have known about LBD sooner. He was diagnosed (mistakenly) with Parkinson's 10 years ago, and just 1 year ago they realized what it was."
