Barbara Hutchinson, RN

their 2007 "LBD Drive Across America" fame.
Barbara and Bill took a year to drive from Valdez, Alaska to Florida in their motor home. Barbara talked about LBD to service groups, churches and LBD support groups wherever she was invited. Bill, a teacher before his illness, went along when she spoke, a silent witness to what it's like to have LBD. |

After their motor home trek, Barbara and Bill stayed in Florida with their daughter until Bill passed away in the spring of 2008. Barbara now lives in North Carolina where she teaches in a local Community College. Barbara continues to talk about LBD to service groups and anyone else who will listen. We are fortunate to have her join our staff.
